Calder House Monogram

A hotel monogram that sits on linen, soap, and a six-metre canopy without changing personality.

Calder House wanted heritage without pastiche. We drew a monogram from the building's ironwork and cut it until it stitched cleanly. The wordmark is secondary and only appears where the monogram cannot.

Materials do the colour work: unbleached linen, a deep green ink, brass on the key fob. Digital uses the same green and plenty of margin.

The guidelines are short enough for a new seasonal hire to follow. That was a requirement, not a nice-to-have.

Guests photograph the canopy. Housekeeping can still fold the mark onto a napkin.
