A naming session that ended with a word people can say

A naming session that ended with a word people can say

A food brand wanted a coined word. Every option needed a pronunciation key. We went back to language they already used with customers and found a short name hiding in their own menu notes.

Good names are easy to search, easy to say, and hard to confuse with a neighbour. Trademark is a later gate. Speech is the first one.

The identity grew quickly after that because the word already had a tone. We did not have to invent a personality to paper over a brittle name.

  • What we decide before we draw

A one-page brief comes first: audience, proof, constraints, and the first three applications. If that page cannot be signed, we are not ready to design.

This keeps the work honest. Campaign ideas can wait until the system has a spine.

  • How a piece leaves the studio

Every article and project ends with files, licences, and a named owner. Handoff is part of the design.

If you want to talk about a similar brief, write to us from the contact page.
